Sod Measurement and Installation Guidelines
At Artisan Borders, all sod deliveries and installations are based on customer-provided measurements and square footage calculations. To help ensure adequate material for your project, it is standard industry practice to add approximately 10% to your calculated square footage to account for cutting, fitting, curves, and normal installation waste.

Before placing your order:
✓ Measure all lawn areas carefully.
✓ Calculate the total square footage of the areas receiving sod.
✓ Add approximately 10% to account for cutting and installation waste.

Providing accurate measurements helps ensure sufficient material is ordered for your project.
Minimum Order Requirements
Artisan Borders currently has a minimum quantity requirement of 2,560 square feet for sod delivery and installation projects.
Projects requiring less than the minimum quantity may still be considered when performed in conjunction with other Artisan Borders services, such as landscape curbing, landscape enhancements, concrete lifting, or other outdoor improvement projects.

Installation Recommendations
For best results:
✓ Install all sod on the same day it is delivered whenever possible.
✓ If immediate installation is not possible, install the sod within 24 hours of delivery.
✓ Water newly installed sod within one hour of installation.
✓ Continue following proper watering practices during the establishment period to promote healthy root development.
Delivery Information
Sod deliveries are typically scheduled between 4:00 AM and 10:00 AM on the day of delivery.
Delivery times may vary due to weather conditions, traffic delays, equipment issues, farm schedules, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Please ensure the delivery area is accessible and prepared prior to your scheduled delivery date.
